In combination with the Sunpura S2400 energy storage system, this P1 meter unfolds its full potential. It precisely measures the surplus energy from your solar system or the energy drawn from the grid. This allows your storage system to automatically know when to charge or discharge – for maximum savings (zero feed-in possible).

Compatibility & Setup

Please check before purchasing whether your meter has a P1 port (RJ12 telephone socket) .

  1. Modern meters (SMR 5.0+): Simply plug it in. The device draws power directly from the meter.
  2. Older meters (DSMR 4.0 or lower): Works perfectly, but requires an additional power supply via the side USB-C port (5V/1A).
  3. Activation: In some regions (e.g. Austria, Belgium) you may need to activate the P1 port via your network operator's web portal.
